I love it, and I can't understand why they're not more popular among HX Stomp users. If you want something small and cheap, this is what I use. My other tip is to buy an expression pedal to really unlock what an HX Stomp can do. 12 rigs Slash’s dist and solo basic tones. Other than that, I really like the Soldano amp for crunch tones (even though it's known more for super hi-gain overdrive) and the Revv Gen Red for hi-gain distortion. I didn't realize until I tried this how little gain Slash really uses. He really nailed Slash's sound way better than I could. This Youtube guy has a great Slash/Sweet Child o' Mine preset.
I think I added a Ratt, a Klon and a compressor for more dirt when I want it.
